If a market surveillance authority (a national regulator) asks for information about a product you import, you must provide it. This includes copies of the declaration of conformity, technical documentation, test reports, or any other records relevant to compliance. You must also cooperate with any corrective action the authority requires — including product recalls.
Legal text

Importers shall cooperate with that authority, at its request, on any action taken to bring the products which they have placed on the market into compliance with the requirements of this Regulation, including by providing access to the technical documentation and facilitating corrective action.
